I hired Elizabeth Spratt and Cornerstone Properties in May 2015 to manage a one-bedroom rental condo in downtown Victoria.

At the time, the condo was occupied with problematic tenants. The strata and neighbouring residents were unhappy, and I needed professional guidance to resolve the situation.

Elizabeth got to work within 24 hours of my initial call, and was a cordial, professional and effective liaison between myself and the strata, the neighbours and the condo’s occupants. Drawing upon her extensive knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act, she resolved the situation quickly, while keeping me apprised of all developments. Following the departure of the occupants, she immediately had the condo cleaned and painted, ensuring there was minimal downtime between tenants. I was aware of all costs ahead of time; there were no surprises. Elizabeth then dedicated herself to finding new tenants, determining an appropriate rent (higher than what I had been charging) and making herself available days, evenings and weekends to show the unit.

The tenants she selected have been problem-free, and renewed their lease for a second year. I would recommend Elizabeth and Cornerstone Properties without hesitation. Elizabeth is extremely good at her job. She has been professional, knowledgeable and highly competent through all the stages of renting and managing my unit, and has always been a pleasure to work with. The invoices and correspondence I receive from Cornerstone are prompt, accurate and helpful. I am extremely pleased with Elizabeth’s service, and would give her and Cornerstone the highest possible recommendation.
